SEO Pricing Perth: Setup, Fees & Scope

Know the difference between your monthly SEO fee, the initial work and the costs outside the scope. That is how you compare proposals without guessing.

01

Monthly SEO fees: what you are paying for

Our guide scopes start at $1,500, $2,750 and $3,500 per month plus GST. The monthly fee covers the agreed existing-page allowance, strategy, relevant technical or local work, and reporting. Compare the tiers on the packages page. A retainer should identify actual delivery responsibilities, rather than promise every possible SEO task at one price.

02

Setup is a separate allowance

The calculator starts with a $750 initial review allowance, then accounts for new pages and the condition of the website. Its new-page planning rate is $300 per page. A recently launched website, unclear previous SEO work or a ranking decline can add investigation. These are planning assumptions, not fixed project quotes. Substantial remediation needs review before a scope is agreed.

03

Included pages, extra pages and writing

The local guide includes four existing pages optimised per month. The calculator adds $100 per additional existing page. Optimisation means improving the selected page’s intent, headings, content and links. It does not mean four entirely new pages. New writing is estimated separately so the monthly allowance and initial build cannot be confused.

04

What is outside the fee?

Media spend, major development, website rebuilds, photography, paid placements and third-party subscriptions are excluded unless the proposal includes them. Additional business profiles, wider targeting and a complex catalogue increase the scope. SEO retains a minimum 180-day engagement, with final commercial terms stated in the written proposal.
